In my college Dorm at Colby I once saw one of the other students do an under the leg followed by a behind the back toss while juggling 3 balls. I thought that it would be the coolest thing if I could learn to do that. Unfortunately I never quite got the regular cascade pattern quite down.

A little later I used to practice Table Tennis at UNH in New Hampshire hall with my friend Ralph Osborne. There was a really good juggler there who practiced juggling while we played Ping Pong. The jugglers name was Mark Nizer. During our Ping Pong breaks Mark started showing us how to juggle. It took me almost no time to get the under leg-behind back combination. I did a lot of juggling as a study break when I was taking classes. I don't juggle that much any more but occasionally new fields of juggling interest me and I end up putting substantial amounts of time into it. Most recently I started practicing contact juggling after seeing Michael Moschen's PBS special.

For those in the area interested in juggling, we have a club at UNH.
