I came into the world blond and here is photographic evidence.

I grew up in Portsmouth New Hampshire with my older sister Ruth. The kitten is Tiki who lived to be 16 years old.

Tiki was a beautiful cat and I think she knew it. She was aloof and bossy but had a playful nature. Even in her old age she enjoyed running through the house and playfully sliding on the wood floors

We had a second cat named "Lady" who was the only female born in Tiki's 3 litters. She was a scrawny cat plagued by health problems. Surprisingly she lived to be 20 years old. She had a very sweet disposition around humans and continued to be agile and a great huntress even in her 19th year of life.

In the summer time we used to spend a lot of time on a 60 foot sail boat that my father partly owned.  The boat was in Gloucester, MA.
