I attended elementary school at Mary C. Dondero School in Portsmouth NH. Here are class pictures from 3d and 4th grade.

I used to be in boy scout troup 964 in Portsmouth. We spent a week or two at Hidden Valley boy scout camp in Laconia every year. I used to spend a lot of time at the archery range and in 1975 I was proud to win the obstacle course competing against represenatives from all the other troups at the camp. Every summer the family would set out to various places in our tent trailer camper. We crossed the country twice and we'd make short expeditions on weekends. This 1976 picture of Ruth and me was taken at Mount Attitash which had a really cool Alpine slide.

I attended Portsmouth Public High school in Portsmouth NH. The high school years were awkward to say the least. In my last 2 years of high school I had a weekend job at the Portsmouth hospital. I also joined a "Medical Explorers" group in high school.

In September of 1978 I went off to colby college in Waterville Maine. I really wasn't very interested in studying and I had to leave after only 3 poor semesters. However, I had a good time and met friends who I continue to stay in touch with today.
