Welcome to the US Disabled Athletes Table Tennis web site. Here you will find general information for those wishing to get involved in IPC, IPTTC, and USATT sanctioned events.
Disabled table tennis is one of the most enjoyable sports on the Paralympic Games program. There are 5 wheelchair divisions and 5 standing disabled divisions.
Although we are a little over 1 year away to qualify for the Paralympics in Beijing in 2008 there are 3 ways:

Win the IPTTC Regional Qualifications (2007 Para Pan Am Games) in your singles class

Be ranked among the top in your class internationally (each class has a different number of players that will be pre-selected based on world ranking)

Be selected as a wildcard or team target player.
There are many events on the IPTTC Calendar to enter. If you excel internationally you will have the opportunity to become a national or elite athlete in the eyes of the USOC Paralympics and would be eligible for additional financial support.
The Para Pan Am Games will be in Rio, Brazil in 2007 will also be a direct qualifier for the 2008 Paralympic in Beijing.

Copy of picture page of passport (IMPORTANT: Passport must be valid for at least 6 months from end of competition)
One digital headshot submitted electronically in JPEG format (30-100 KB) Note: The background of this photo must be light in color (white or light gray). Hats, headbands, and dark glasses may not be worn in the photo. Please no funny facial expressions! For many of the athletes we have taken headshots of you here. If your image is not here you need to send one in.
Also please visit: www.usantidoping.org if you are unsure if any medication you are taking is a banned substance or not. This is your responsibility and there is strict liability.
